ABOUT JACOB

The smell of petrol from the kart, massive noise and high speed: All essential for making Jacob feel his is in his right element.

Jacob Nørtoft has been driving the go-kart since he was 8 years old. It soon became obvious, that he had extraordinary talent.

So the sport has become serious business for Jacob Nørtoft. The 16 year old from Vemmelev is a major talent, travelling all over Europe 10 out of 12 months a year. Wanting to be the best, there is no time to rest on one’s laurels.

Jacob is driving the formula car already in 2011. With support from Team Danmark, Sports Team Slagelse and from The Danish Automobile Sports Union he is well on his way achieving his ultimate goal:

When Jacob is not racinghe is in the gym – often several times a day. The physical shape is of utmost importance for a race driver, and Jacob’s shape is at it’s best.

When not on the track, Jacob spends his limited free time with friends and family. Especially his family is investing oceans of time on Jacob’s sport. Being 16 year old, travelling round Europe, massive support is absolutely necessary.

Jacob has his kart license from his childhood club Korsør Kart Klub. When he has the time Jacob helps out in the club. He has already become a role model for the new, younger kart drivers.
